Altynay Karimova

Altynay Karimova is a PhD student in Communication at the University of Pittsburgh. She earned an MS in Journalism. Her research examines political communication, including disinformation and propaganda, and how new media and technologies shape society and political power. She is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
