Omicron Psi Chapter
Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the National Communication Association’s official honor society. LPH is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) with over 500 chapters worldwide. The Omicron Psi Chapter here at Pitt has been in existence since 2005 and has over 200 members.
Membership is by invitation only and is extended to those Communication majors who have the following qualifications:
- At least 60 credit hours
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or above
- 3.25 GPA or above in the Communication major
- at least 12 credits in Communication completed
As a member, you will receive a certificate of membership and a pin. You are also eligible for involvement in the organization at the national level through participation in the annual business meeting, awards ceremony, and undergraduate paper presentations.
