Niq D. Johnson, Ph.D.

Niq D. Johnson is a social impact strategist specializing in strategic planning and programs, organizational communications and culture design, and community engagement. They have over 15yrs of experience as a founder, organizer, and thought partner on community-driven and community-serving initiatives including grassroots power-building projects with Movement Voter Project, National Network Assembly, Action Together Network, and Ragtag. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s doctoral program in the Department of Communication, Niq has successfully transitioned into a rewarding career as an executive and founder in both startup and nonprofit organizations. They co-founded the queer & trans BIPOC media platform and publication, Color Bloq as well as a social impact consulting firm & incubator, Keyframe Illumination Collaborative (launching in 2021).
