Visiting Faculty

David DeIuliis (Ph.D., Duquesne University) is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Communication at the University of Pittsburgh. David’s recent research focuses on intersections of the philosophical and rhetorical traditions in the work of Marcel Proust, whose oeuvre imitates in ebbs and flows the symbiosis of rhetoric and philosophy. David has edited the Pennsylvania Communication Annual and currently serves as Reviews Editor of the Journal of Communication and Religion. His work has appeared in several edited volumes in the areas of communication theory and cultural studies, and also in journals such as the European Journal for the Philosophy of Communication, Communication Research Trends, the Journal of Health and Mass Communication, and the Quarterly Journal of Speech, among others.
