Sarah Bishop Accepts Tenure Track Position
Sarah Bishop, a third year PhD fellow, recently accepted a tenure-track assistant professorship in the Department of Communication Studies at Baruch College, City University of New York. In July, Bishop will defend her dissertation, titled, "'It's Just What We Saw in the Movie': Refugees Encounter U.S. Media." She will relocate to New York City in August. At Baruch, Bishop will teach a range of undergraduate and graduate communication classes while continuing her own research on media, nationalism, and migration.
