Erika Molloseau has been selected through a national competition to attend, on a fully funded basis, from June 30 to July 25, 2008, a Summer Seminar on African American Civil Rights Struggles in the Twentieth Century, led by Henry Louis Gates, Jr., at the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard University. The Seminar is sponsored by the National Endowment of the Humanities. Erika will receive her PhD this year based on her dissertation, defended in August 2007, Exhibiting Racism: The Cultural Politics of Lynching Photography Re-presentations. She is currently Assistant Professor of Communication at Denison University.
