Christian Science Monitor Interviews Faculty Member on Global Warming Teach-in
Some 1,600 institutions nationwide are scheduled to participate in teach-in on January 31, designed to "Focus the Nation" on the issue of global warming. As part of its coverage of the event, the Christian Science Monitor interviewed Associate Professor Gordon Mitchell.

Mitchell is currently teaching a graduate seminar in the rhetoric of social movements. In 1998, he moderated the first-ever public debate between NASA climatologist James Hansen and leading climate skeptic Patrick Michaels.
