Visiting Lecturer, Beginning Fall 2008 More

This is a one-year non-tenure track position.

Appointee will oversee the Media and Professional Communications major in the College of General Studies, and teach undergraduate courses such as Mass Communication Process, History of Mass Media, TV & Society, Theories of Persuasion, and Media Criticism.Administrative duties tosupport the programwill be included in the responsibilities of the position.The appointment is in the School of Arts and Sciences Department of Communication.

Christian Science Monitor Interviews Faculty Member on Global Warming Teach-in More

John Lyne Speaks at the Warhol Museum

Lyne gave a lecture at the Warhol Museum on March 1 titled, "Better Than Well: Physical and Mental Health and the Moving Target of Perfection."

Ten Faculty Awarded CxC Fellowships

The fall 2006 Faculty Seminar of the Communication Across the Curriculum Program (CxC) is well under way. The program is sponsored by Dean for Undergraduate Studies Regina Schulte-Ladbeck, and faculty who attend are awarded a stipend of $1,000.
