WPDU Cracks Top 10 in National Debate Tournament Poll
On the strength of stellar early-season performances at the West Virginia University tournament (including second-speaker and second-place team honors), the WPDU cracked the top 10 of the National Debate Tournament’s varsity points standings.
WPDU debaters have also represented Pittsburgh at tournaments hosted by King’s College and Georgia State University. Upcoming tournaments on the travel schedule include the University of Richmond and West Point. This year’s topic deals with the U.S. Supreme Court.
