Chancellor's Award for Chalus

WPDU administrative assistant Peg Chalus won a 2006 Chancellor’s Award for Staff Excellence in service to the University.

In presenting the award at an exclusive ceremony, Chancellor Mark Nordenberg lauded Peg's 17 years of inspired work, noting that she has played an instrumental role in the WPDU’s success and brightened the spirits of all visitors to the WPDU workspace. Peg’s award carries a $2,500 cash prize and ensures that her contributions will be remembered, as her name will be inscribed on a plaque in the William Pitt Union. Peg's remarkable achievement was covered in news articles published in the Pitt Chronicle and University Times.
